NORYL™
Modified PPO / PPE
NORYL™ family by SABIC — amorphous blends of modified polyphenylene oxide (PPO) with polystyrene. Distinguished by very low moisture absorption, excellent dimensional stability and outstanding electrical properties.

SABIC
- NORYL™ is a modified PPO — combining stiffness, heat resistance and very low moisture absorption (typically < 0.1%).
- Excellent electrical properties across a wide temperature and humidity range; UL94 V-0 halogen-free flame-retardant grades available.
- Customers choose NORYL™ for electrical connectors, photovoltaic parts, water pump housings and components requiring dimensional stability in variable humidity.

Appliances & office equipment
- Practically no moisture absorption — mechanical performance stays stable across environments.
- Halogen-free flame retardance — meets modern electrical and PV application requirements.
- Very broad HDT range through PPO/HIPS blend modification.
- Stable electrical properties (dielectric, CTI) at high humidity.
